Last month when I returned back to Singapore for a short holiday, I brought my newest outfit out with me to shoot with Lenne Chai in her studio. I haven’t had such an exhilarating experience in a long time and here’s why.
It was great to work with a professional to begin with! Lenne has been shooting professionally for five years now and her work has been featured in local Singapore magazines and in Japanese magazines! I’ve known her for awhile but this is the first time we’ve actually worked together and she’s amazing! She put together the whole concept for the shoot, got some friends like Fawn & Moss involved to design the beautiful renaissance-like backdrop for the shoot and roped in an amazing make-up artist Marie Soh! The best part of this was that we managed to get a professional model who turned out to be 100 times better than she was in her comm. cards! I really couldn’t have asked for a better team, headed by Lenne (who told me to just turn up with my clothes, wowza!) and the beauty of Alina E. She was emoting within a snap and watching the shoot was just…. surreal. I was in heaven and constantly going ‘Wow. This is amazing. I’m blown away’.
So once again, a BIG thanks to the team! With great pleasure, I present to you the Lumiere shoot.
